Why We Exist
Feeding Africa's Growing Population
Sub-Saharan Africa's population is expected to grow the fastest — in excess of 114%. Agriculture must produce enough food and fibre to feed this growing population and supply more feedstock. It also needs to contribute to overall development in the many agriculture-dependent developing countries.
To address these challenges, adoption of more efficient and sustainable production and post-harvest management systems is inevitably required. Conscious of the need to be part of the solution, Kevman & Troyt was born.

Our consultants have worked with leading corporate, development, and humanitarian organizations across East Africa.
Kevin is a grain handling specialist with a background in Food Science and Technology and over 12 years' experience managing grain handling businesses. He has expertise in grain business processes, inventory management, grain quality management, continuous improvement, operational excellence, warehouse receipt systems, and occupational safety.
Kevin has worked for Lesiolo Grain Handlers Limited and Cargill Kenya Limited. He has consulted for the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) and Financial Sector Deepening (FSD), and is a contributing author in Commercial Grain Storage in Structured Trade System Handbook published by CTA.
Patrick is a Food Safety specialist with a background in Food Science and Technology and over 14 years' experience in post-harvest management of grains, quality management systems, value chain analysis, and occupational health and safety.
Patrick has worked for Lesiolo Grain Handlers, East Africa Malting, Fintrac Kenya (USAID-KAVES project), and Cargill Kenya. He has participated in the EAC Cereals & Pulses Standards Committee through EAGC. He is a certified Pest Control Officer, Trained Fire Marshal, and Occupational First Aider.
